As of October 23, 2010 this website will go into archive "lockdown." I cannot afford to pay for a site that has no active community. The co-"owner" has disappeared (he can buy the domain name and, on verification, the website's contents will be transferred to him) and the site as of now is basically a glorified host of a handful of files that will be transferred to downloads.fawkessoft.com when the site shuts down. The site will still be viewable through aai.fawkessoft.com but registration will no longer be open and no new posts will be accepted.
I'm sorry that this is the way things are, but between college and a lack of a job I need to save every penny I can, which sadly includes trimming dead weight and consolidating.
On March 17, Apple gave members of the iPhone Developer Program access to the iPhone OS 3.0 software beta and an updated Software Development Kit (SDK) with over 1,000 completely new APIs. The new firmware will have over 100 new features including:
* Search your iPhone
* Cut, copy, and paste
* Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS*
* Read and compose email and text messages in landscape
iPhone and iPod Touch users will have to wait until summer '09 for the free upgrade to iPhone and $10 for iPod Touch.

In Apple's last appearance at the Macworld trade show, Philip Schiller (Apple's top marketing executive), said that starting in April ’09, iTunes songs will come in three different prices: 69 cents, 99 cents and $1.29. Record companies will choose the prices, and iTunes plans to make every track available without copy protection.
The forums are now live, however, All About iPods is short on staff. If you would like to become a staff member, please PM me the answers to these questions:
1) Have you been a staff member on a forum before? If yes, explain.
2) What skills do you possess?
3) Do you have knowledge of modern technology and the ability to keep up with changing technology?
4) Why should we promote you?

Hello, AllAboutiPods.net, and welcome to your new MyBB installation!
This transfer should increase stability, improve user experience, and make it easier to expand the site in the future!
I hope you enjoy your renovated home!
Important note: Because vBulletin stores it's passwords differently than MyBB, and because they're encrypted, existing members may be unable to log in. If this happens, please email me at firestryke31 fawkessoft,com with the subject "Password Reset" from the same email address that you registered with! (For security reasons.)
The move to the new server is now complete! All About iPods is now in business!

Thank you for your support! :exclaim:
NOTE: If you were redirected to the new .net domain you should update your bookmarks and forget about the old site. It will no longer be maintained.

Well, we've finalized the details, and are getting ready for a server move. I'm going to get a space on http://www.bluehost.com/ where allaboutipods.co.cc and the soon-to-be fawkessoft.com will be hosted. Once moved we will share advertisement revenue to pay for the $6.95 monthly fee.
The thing that the iPhone is missing... copy and paste. It's such a pain if you can't copy links from your tweets to a note or Wordpress. Now a student developer has decided to do what Apple has claimed is not "high priority". His non-profit, open source, offers iPhone users a free copy and paste tool that also allows you to copy and paste from different apps.
What's more OpenClip is still within the rules of Apple's SDK. It does this by creating a standard location for each application and allowing each application to copy by saving data locally and paste by pulling the most recently saved info.
It is open clip's ability of copying from apps and pasting to other apps that puts it ahead of the likes of Proximi's MagicPad.
