All About iPods

On March 17, Apple gave members of the iPhone Developer Program access to the iPhone OS 3.0 software beta and an updated Software Development Kit (SDK) with over 1,000 completely new APIs. The new firmware will have over 100 new features including:

* Search your iPhone
* Cut, copy, and paste
* Send photos, contacts, audio files, and location via MMS*
* Read and compose email and text messages in landscape

iPhone and iPod Touch users will have to wait until summer '09 for the free upgrade to iPhone and $10 for iPod Touch.

In this software there are over 1,000 new APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) offering amazing new capabilities. Digging deeper into this release offers many clues as to how Sirius XM may utilize this new technology. The possibilities are nothing short of game changing.
